Ukraine Series

This series of paintings depicts the war in Ukraine with great emotional intensity, through powerful symbols: sunflowers, doves, blood, peace, and destruction. With the use of strong symbols such as the sunflower (Ukraine), the dove (peace), blood (violence), words (propaganda, raw reality), and bright colors mixed with dark hues and bursts of blood red—they express a constant tension between hope and despair. These works are a pictorial cry against the injustice of war. We must not look away, feel the human suffering behind the conflict, and hope for peace.
